AWDis is dedicated to quality, innovation, and sustainability, with a focus on design excellence that positions the brand as a market leader. Through every stage of production, AWDis garments champion environmentally responsible practices, driving the future of sustainable fashion.

With a firm commitment to preventing environmental harm and addressing climate change, AWDis partners with third-party experts to map its carbon footprint. This collaboration enables the tracking of emissions and the implementation of effective reduction strategies. Over the coming years, ambitious targets will be set to achieve net-zero emissions, guided by data-driven insights.

Carbon Reduction and Tracking

AWDis ensures the responsible shipping of garments by:

  • Shipping only full cartons
  • Packing each container to maximum capacity to minimise wasted space
  • Rarely using air freight, with only 30 shipments by air since 2017
Reduction in Plastics in Packaging
  • In 2022, all virgin plastics were removed from packaging, replaced with 100% recycled bags
  • In 2023, 80% of packaging was eliminated entirely
  • For unavoidable packaging, AWDis is transitioning to 100% certified compostable bags, significantly reducing environmental impact
  • AWDis denim has also eliminated unnecessary interior plastic and cardboard packaging

Closing the Loop

According to WRAP more than 300,500 tonnes of clothing end up in the UK landfills every year. Enhancing the circularity of AWDis products by extending their lifecycle is a key priority. Some of the steps taken to support this goal include:

– Donating surplus fabric from our factories to local charities
– Recycling excess cotton to create new garments
– Offering styles made from organic materials

These efforts reflect a steadfast commitment to reducing environmental impact while continuing to deliver high-quality, innovative products.
